You're not failing.
You're just exhausted.
This page is for the parents who have tried everything. And for the ones who want to understand the person they're trusting with their family's sleep.
Hi! I'm Katja. I'm a certified sleep coach for babies and toddlers, and I'm genuinely glad you're here.
I didn't come to this work by accident.
I've always been drawn to children. Growing up, I looked after my two younger sisters while my mum was at work. Later, I became the devoted aunty, the one who shows up, who reads the bedtime stories, who stays. I'm not a mother myself, but I've spent my whole life caring for those who can't yet care for themselves. And somewhere along the way, that became my calling.
My fascination with sleep started in a sleep lab. While analysing nightly measurements, I was watching what our brains actually do during those hours, the extraordinary complexity of something we all do, every night, without thinking. And then I saw what happens when sleep breaks down. The effects on memory, immunity, mood, concentration, and relationships. Sleep is not just rest. It's the foundation of everything.
That knowledge sat with me. And then one evening, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a video that stopped me completely.
A mother. 3am. Her baby crying. She was so exhausted she had lost control of herself, in a way that anyone who's been there would recognise, and that nobody talks about enough. I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. Not about what she'd done wrong. About what she hadn't been given.
How do we prevent families from getting to that point?
That question changed everything. I dove into the research. I completed my training as a sleep coach for babies and toddlers under Miriam Ende. I kept learning. And Nestling was born.
How I work with families
Attachment first
Your relationship with your child is the foundation, and it stays that way. Every step we take together is built around protecting that bond, not straining it. If something doesn't feel right for your family, we don't do it.
Science informed
I draw on real sleep research, including my experience working in a sleep lab, to make sure that what I recommend is grounded in how sleep actually works. Not trends. Not Instagram advice. Evidence.
Personalised
There is no one-size-fits-all sleep plan. We start by understanding your child's unique situation, your family's rhythms, and your values, and we build something that fits you, not a template.
Whole family focused
When a child struggles with sleep, everyone is affected. My coaching looks at the full picture, because the goal isn't just a sleeping baby. It's a family that's finally found its rhythm.
The training
behind the work.
Sleep coaching is a serious responsibility. I take that seriously, which is why I've invested deeply in my education and keep learning.

Ready to find your family's rhythm?
The first step is a free discovery call, no pressure, no commitment, just a conversation about where you are and how I might be able to help.
You don't need to have everything figured out before we speak. Most families don't. That's exactly what the call is for.
